if I wake up and you’re not here with me, seeing your name on my phone is one of the next best things. relief washes over me. the nightmares I experience, asleep or awake in the days passed, of you not speaking to me darken my mind and tear down my soul. it’s easy to live your life without your other half before you’ve found them, but trying to go on once they’re gone if you know what you’re missing seems unbearable, even for the strongest of people.
